The new look blog took a backseat with recent events but in their wake, a new beginning seemed apt.
I thought of waiting for my first blogging anniversary but that’s about two weeks away and if I had to wait that long I think I’d either go mad or lose my nerve, possibly both.
So it’s here in all its imperfect glory with a nervous, wobbling hand and a held breath.
Many thanks to Margaret-Rose Stringer for the ‘Navigation by Category’ idea. Hopefully she subscribes to the ‘Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery’ standard of blogging.

WOW! What a lot of work to organize all of the posts! And setting up the drawing widgets and the like. That’s dedication! It looks good, REAL good, as MR says. I’m seriously impressed with the effort.

Luckily I started when I was less than 100 posts in. Can’t imagine how tedious it must have been for M-R with 400!
So worth it, though. And as a somewhat obsessive person, I did take a perverse pleasure in organising it all. 🙂 Thanks, Maggie.

It started out as dark purple but something wasn’t right so I went back to the colour pallette. I like this much better. Glad you like it too!
